Pete's new Internet home

I recently took the camera out for the first time since we finished the blog in December and once I'd loaded the photos onto the computer didn't quite know what to do with them so I created a new blog.

It hopefully won't just be photos on there this time but I envisage that they will make up a large amount of the content.

If you fancy checking it out it can be found here:

see you there,
Pete

My Favourites

Following Andy's lead, although I'm a lot later, I've put together a gallery on Flickr containing my favourites out of Andy's Photos in 2009.

Enjoy.

Here is selection of some of my favourites from Pete's year of photos I hope you like them. Click on the image to see them in a flickr gallery. You can only have 18 photos in a gallery which made the selection process even harder.

Broken laptop

Hello, the video card in my latop has died which means I won't be processing or uploading any photos for a couple of days while I work out some alternative arrangements. I'm still shooting and will post asap.

Cheers

Another Break...

Dearest Blog Fans,

Pete here, I'm going on holiday for 10 days to a part of the world that has no access to the Internet. Therefore I will not be posting until the 7th September however I will still be taking my photos and, as I'm going to Yellowstone National Park in the USA, they shall hopeful be a bit more interesting than what I'm been managing lately.

Another Theme Week

Andy and I have decided to do another theme week, like before we will each nominate 5 themes for the other to use. We will each have 1 week (7 days) starting tomorrow, Wednesday, in which to use the 5 themes in our photos. Other than this it's the same rules as before, which can be found here.

The themes are:

Pete's Themes for Andy:
  • Memory / Memories
  • Travel
  • Life
  • Marine
  • Beige
Andy's Themes for Pete:
  • International incident
  • Negative space
  • Fire
  • Food
  • Fluffy

Wish us luck.

A bit of a challenge

Dearest Readers,

Andy and I have passed the half way point of our project 365 and, I'm sure he won't mind me saying, we are getting a bit stuck for ideas. Taking this on board Andy concocted a challenge whereby we nominate themes for the other.

These are the "rules":
  • We each name five themes on a Sunday, they will be published on the blog (see below)
  • All the themes must be used before we resume our normal photography adventures
  • A single photo can encompass more than one of the themes
  • Each theme can only be used once
I think that pretty much covers it, we will try this out this week and we may make it a more regular thing.

I guess all that is left to do is set the themes for this week:

Pete's Themes for Andy
  • Winter
  • Blue
  • Paradise
  • Conformity
  • Lifestyle
Andy's Themes for Pete
  • ABC
  • Colour
  • Bokeh Bokeh Bokeh
  • Geometric
  • Infinity
Hope you enjoy it,
Pete

Normal service has been resumed...

Well, I'm back.

There was no good internet to be had so I didn't post anything while I was away, I've been busy with the camera though and I've posted photos 122 - 129.

I've set their publish dates to the corresponding date to ensure the archive on the blog remains useful.

However here is a list of links to the posts to make it easier for you, the reader:

Break in transmition...

Hello readers Pete here.
I'm about to head off for a week at Disney World in Florida with work (2nd - 9th May). Unfortunately I cannot guarantee that I'll be able to upload my photos whilst I'm away, due to the expense of the hotel internet connection. I will however continue to take my project 365 photos and upload them on my return or if I find some cheaper free internet.

Stay tuned,
Pete
