Today Wayne and I went dumper truck racing at DiggerWorld in Kent. I was pretty rubbish (and came last in a field of 18) but Wayne was good getting to compete in the grand final and coming second.

That looks fun - would you recommend it?
ReplyDeleteIt was lots of fun and really different to Karting etc. The races are all quite short and technical. I never really got the hang of the steering going forwards so when we started racing in reverse I was completely out of my depth. It usually takes me a while to learn new physical skills like driving etc. so I'm not suprised I did so badly. The guys running the evening were really friendly and joky which helped make it fun despite the fact I was losing so badly.
